Oracle plans to raise $20 billion through bonds and stock sales. Oracle ORCL plans to raise $20 billion through the sale of bonds and new shares, two US regulatory filings showed on Monday, in a move that adds to its fundraising for expensive AI and cloud infrastructure. Shares of the company slipped 3.5% in premarket trading. Oracle said it will use the money for general corporate purposes. That can include capital spending, paying down debt, acquisitions, dividends and share buybacks. The company said last week that it expects capital spending to peak this fiscal year and the next as it builds more cloud-computing capacity, but pledged to raise no more than $20 billion in additional financing for AI through fiscal 2030.

Redwire In Play Ahead of Earnings: Here’s What Investors Need to Know. Redwire Corporation RDW shares are in the spotlight Monday, with earnings on deck, backlog and gross margin in focus and a technical setup showing a downtrend with improving momentum all drawing attention. Redwire stock is showing upward movement. Why is RDW stock advancing? Earnings Preview & History Redwire is scheduled to report third-quarter earnings on Nov. 4 after the market closes. Analysts estimate a loss of about 12 cents per share along with revenue of $125.48 million. For the prior quarter, Redwire reported a loss of 19 cents per share, missing the consensus estimate of a loss of 17 cents. The company also posted revenue of $117.07 million, beating the consensus estimate of $107.30 million. What to Watch : Backlog, Margins & Cash Flow Investors will be closely tracking backlog and bookings, after Redwire reported a record $542.1 million backlog in the second quarter on a book-to-bill ratio of 1.42, helped by contract wins including a high-eight-figure NATO unmanned aircraft contract. Full-year guidance will also be in focus. Redwire reaffirmed 2026 revenue guidance of $450 million to $500 million, which implies growth of about 42% at the midpoint, so the third-quarter number shows whether it is on pace. Gross margin will draw attention too, after it reached a record 27.8% in the second quarter from negative margins a year earlier. Defense Tech, where Redwire is delivering its Octopus ISR payloads, is the growth driver, with nearly 200 delivered so far this year. Cash flow will be watched as well. Free cash flow was negative in the second quarter, and Redwire said the net loss narrowed to $41.0 million while adjusted EBITDA improved to a loss of $3.2 million. Redwire Trades 23.4% Below 200-Day Average as MACD Signals Easing Downtrend Redwire is still in a longer-term downtrend: the stock is trading 6% below its 20-day SMA ($9.03) and 23.4% below its 200-day SMA ($11.08), which keeps rallies vulnerable to selling pressure. The 20-day SMA sitting below the 50-day SMA, plus the death cross (50-day below 200-day) that formed in October, reinforces that the bigger-picture trend hasn’t repaired yet. Momentum is improving at the margin, though, and MACD is the cleaner lens right now: MACD being above its signal line (with a positive histogram) suggests downside pressure is easing versus the prior downswing. That matters because it can be an early "momentum turn" signal—even if price still needs to reclaim key moving averages to confirm a true trend reversal. From a levels standpoint, traders are watching nearby pivots rather than distant averages given the stock’s current location in the range: Key Resistance : $9.00 — a round-number area that also lines up closely with the 20-day SMA/EMA zone where rebounds can stall Key Support : $8.00 — a nearby round-number level that can act as a first line of defense if the premarket bounce fades Zooming out, Redwire is far off its 52-week high of $26.64 after a swing high in August and a swing low in October, which frames the current action as a bounce attempt inside a broader drawdown. The stock’s 12-month gain of 13.84% also highlights how choppy the path has been—big swings, but with the longer-term trend still needing repair. Redwire Shares Edge Higher RDW Price Action: At the time of publication, Redwire shares are trading 0.87% higher at $8.46, according to data from Benzinga Pro .

Lumen and Microsoft Expand Collaboration to Co-Sell Enterprise AI-Ready Networks. Lumen Technologies ( LUMN ) and Microsoft ( MSFT ) today announced an expanded co-selling collaboration to help enterprises overcome a critical challenge in AI adoption: connecting the data, applications, and infrastructure that power AI workloads. As AI initiatives expand, organizations need to use data and applications distributed across public clouds, private data centers, offices, and partner environments. Yet the networks connecting these environments often remain fragmented and complex. Lumen’s capabilities help customers align network transformation with Microsoft Azure modernization plans earlier, so connectivity, security, data movement, and AI infrastructure decisions are planned as part of one enterprise architecture. Lumen’s extensive network and on-demand control capabilities provide Azure customers with the simplified connectivity and resilient, high-performance network foundation needed to put AI to work. As part of the expanded collaboration, Lumen intends to bring its full suite of cloud networking and application connectivity capabilities to Azure, expanding how customers can access and deploy Lumen capabilities through Microsoft’s cloud and AI ecosystem. “AI is reshaping where applications run and how organizations use and move data,” said Katy Brown, corporate vice president, Americas Markets and Industries at Microsoft. “Microsoft is committed to giving customers choice as they connect existing environments to Azure. Our work with Lumen is focused on helping customers align their broader network transformation with their Azure cloud and AI priorities, while taking advantage of Azure's native networking, security, scale, and innovation.” “Enterprises are moving quickly to adopt AI, but many are still figuring out how to connect the data, applications, and infrastructure behind it,” said Ryan Asdourian, chief strategy and marketing officer at Lumen. “Together with Microsoft, we’re bringing cloud, network, and AI planning together earlier and putting AI to work more effectively.” Expanding Enterprise Access to Cloud-Native Networking Through expanded co-sell efforts, Microsoft and Lumen intend to extend joint account planning engagement around enterprise opportunities where network modernization, Azure cloud platform migration, and AI transformation increasingly converge. The companies also plan to identify opportunities to bring additional Lumen capabilities to Azure and Microsoft Marketplace over time. Alkira, a Lumen Connect® solution available through Microsoft Marketplace, provides customers with an established purchasing option for its cloud-native networking capabilities. The collaboration supports several enterprise priorities: Connect distributed data for AI : Link enterprise sites, data centers, and clouds to support Azure-based AI initiatives. Simplify hybrid and multi-cloud networking: Apply consistent policies and visibility across distributed environments. Adapt as needs change : Connect new clouds, partners, and applications without treating each as a separate networking project. Lumen and Microsoft will share additional details about the expanded collaboration as joint go-to-market plans progress. For more information, visit Microsoft Marketplace. About Microsoft Microsoft (Nasdaq “MSFT” @microsoft) creates platforms and tools powered by AI to deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. The technology company is committed to making AI available broadly and doing so responsibly, with a mission to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. About Lumen Technologies Lumen is unleashing the world’s AI potential. As the trusted network for AI, we ignite business growth by connecting people, data and applications quickly, securely and effortlessly. Lumen’s physical infrastructure, programmable network and connected ecosystem give enterprises a simpler way to move data from virtually anywhere to anywhere in real time to support their AI needs. Together, Lumen’s owned fiber backbone and cloud-native control plane provide a differentiated platform for connecting, securing and operating modern enterprise environments at global scale. From metro connectivity and long-haul data transport to cloud networking, security services, digital platform capabilities and connectivity orchestration, Lumen meets customers’ needs today and as they build for tomorrow. Lumen and Lumen Technologies are registered trademarks of Lumen Technologies, Inc. in the United States. Forward-Looking Statement This release contains forward-looking statements within the meaning of the Private Securities Litigation Reform Act of 1995, including statements regarding Lumen’s expanded collaboration with Microsoft, planned co-selling activities, future availability and integration of Lumen capabilities through Azure and Microsoft Marketplace, and anticipated benefits for enterprise cloud, AI and agentic workloads. These statements are based on current expectations and are subject to risks and uncertainties that could cause actual results to differ materially from those expressed or implied, including changes in partner plans, development and integration delays, customer adoption, competition, and cybersecurity or service disruptions. For a discussion of these and other risks and uncertainties, please refer to Lumen’s filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, including its most recent Annual Report on Form 10-K and subsequent Quarterly Reports on Form 10-Q. These statements speak only as of the date made. Lumen undertakes no, and expressly disclaims any, obligation to update any forward-looking statements. BACKGROUND Connecting the data behind enterprise AI Lumen with Alkira combines its extensive network infrastructure with advanced network orchestration, giving enterprises a single portal to connect, secure, and manage their networks across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. Microsoft Azure provides the cloud and AI services to modernize infrastructure, build applications, and scale AI workloads. Customers can leverage Azure-native networking capabilities, including Azure Virtual WAN, alongside Lumen connectivity and cloud-native networking capabilities based on their business requirements. As enterprises move from AI experimentation toward agent-operated business processes, connectivity alone will not be enough. Organizations will need a secure, governed foundation spanning networks, cloud infrastructure, data, identities, applications and AI agents. Microsoft and Lumen plan to explore how AI-ready connectivity and Microsoft's agent governance and security capabilities can work together to support these increasingly distributed environments. The initiative builds on the companies’ longstanding relationship. Lumen's Private Connectivity Fabric supports Microsoft data center connectivity, while Microsoft Azure supports Lumen's workload modernization. The expanded collaboration applies that experience to enterprise cloud networking and AI infrastructure planning, creating a foundation for deeper joint work across Azure, AI-ready connectivity, and governed agentic workloads. Chip Maker Marvell Agrees to Buy Lumentum in $80 Billion Deal— WSJ. By Anissa Gardizy and Robbie Whelan Artificial-intelligence chip maker Marvell agreed to buy data-center-optics maker Lumentum in an all-stock deal worth roughly $80 billion. The deal will combine two of the fastest-growing enablers of AI. Marvell designs custom AI chips and other technology that connects processors and moves data around data centers. Buying Lumentum would expand its offerings in technology that uses light to move data between chips and servers. Nvidia is a strategic investor in both companies. Under the terms of the agreement, Lumentum stockholders will receive 4.5 shares of Marvell common stock for each share of Lumentum common stock they own, the companies said Monday. Including debt, the deal is valued at about $115 billion. Lumentum makes lasers, chips and optical interconnectivity hardware that are incorporated into data-center servers. A key player in the once-obscure field of photonics, Lumentum and other companies like it produce technology that seeks to help computers transmit data between semiconductors faster than can be done over traditional copper wire connections. Lumentum has a market value of around $76 billion, while Marvell's is about $172 billion. Marvell's data-center segment made up less than 10% of its revenue in 2016, but now comprises the majority and is its leading growth engine. Chief Executive Matt Murphy has said Marvell "bet the farm" to build up its data-center business. In early March, Nvidia announced a multiyear purchase commitment for Lumentum's advanced laser components. As part of that deal, Nvidia said it would invest $2 billion in Lumentum to support research and development, as well as the company's manufacturing capabilities in the U.S. Later that month, Nvidia invested $2 billion in Marvell as part of a strategic partnership aimed at helping companies that develop custom AI chips to connect more easily to Nvidia systems. If a deal is completed, Marvell's technology could benefit hardware that competes with Nvidia. Marvell is best-known for helping develop custom AI chips for Amazon Web Services. In August, Marvell disclosed an expanded commercial partnership with Google that gives the tech giant rights to buy Marvell shares. "AI infrastructure is undergoing a fundamental architectural shift toward optical connectivity, creating an opportunity that comes along once in a generation," Murphy said, adding that the deal will help to shape the next era of AI connectivity. Intel Stock Slides Again Monday: What's Going On. Intel Corporation INTC stock fell further in Monday’s premarket trading after plunging 28.58% on Friday, as disappointing fourth-quarter guidance and concerns over persistent PC market weakness and memory-related pressures fueled fears of a prolonged slowdown extending into 2027. The move came even as S&P 500 futures rose 0.5% and Nasdaq futures also traded higher, keeping the focus on Intel-specific concerns rather than the broader market. Weak Q4 Outlook Keeps Pressure on Intel Intel beat third-quarter expectations with 52 cents in EPS on $16.51 billion in revenue, but its fourth-quarter outlook came in well below Wall Street estimates . The company guided adjusted EPS to 25 cents, compared with the 43-cent consensus, and revenue to $15 billion-$16 billion, versus about $17.05 billion expected. BofA Sees a Multi-Quarter Balancing Act Bank of America Securities analyst Vivek Arya downgraded Intel to Neutral from Buy, arguing that the company faces a multi-quarter challenge balancing PC weakness against stronger AI data-center demand. Arya told CNBC on Friday that Intel’s data-center business is growing rapidly, but the company remains more exposed to PCs, where IT budgets are under pressure as customers redirect spending toward AI. He said Intel’s strategy of investing in manufacturing and expanding external foundry demand makes sense, but those investments require substantial upfront capital and could take three to five years to generate meaningful returns. Arya said AI demand should remain strong but prefers to wait for more evidence of external customer wins and continued data-center progress. Moorhead Stays Positive on Foundry Moor Insights & Strategy analyst Patrick Moorhead took a more constructive view and said Intel’s longer-term foundry thesis remains intact despite the selloff. Moorhead told CNBC on Friday that investors are primarily betting on Intel’s ability to manufacture chips for outside customers rather than on its PC business. He expects a better manufacturing setup in 2027 as Intel aligns server and PC products more closely with its 18A and 18A-P processes. Moorhead also expects deferred PC demand to return once memory pricing stabilizes, with more optimism for 2028 than 2027. KeyBanc Sees Foundry and Server CPU Upside KeyBanc Capital Markets analyst John Vinh maintained an Overweight rating while trimming his price forecast. Vinh told CNBC on Friday that the near-term PC outlook is disappointing and also cited a fab incident in Israel that created about a 200-basis-point gross-margin headwind. However, he sees the longer-term opportunity in foundry, advanced packaging and server CPUs. Vinh expects more than $30 billion of external foundry and packaging opportunities by 2030 and projects Intel’s data-center business to grow about 60% next year. He said component demand could fall 25%-30% against a roughly 10% decline in PC units, but believes foundry and server CPU growth can eventually offset that weakness. Technical Analysis Intel shares trade 32.6% below their 20-day simple moving average (SMA), 35.7% below the 50-day SMA and 25.2% below the 200-day SMA. The 20-day SMA remains below the 50-day SMA, signaling short-term weakness. However, the 50-day SMA remains above the 200-day SMA, suggesting the longer-term trend has not fully reversed. Meanwhile, Intel’s relative strength index (RSI) stands at 25, indicating oversold conditions. Although this could support a short-term rebound, it does not guarantee a recovery. The stock has gained 66.48% over the past year despite its recent decline. Traders are watching resistance near $86.86 and support around $32.89, the stock’s 52-week low. Analyst Outlook The stock carries a consensus Hold rating and an average analyst price forecast of $96.33 . On Oct. 30, UBS and JPMorgan maintained Neutral ratings while lowering their price forecasts to $80. Freedom Broker downgraded Intel to Hold and reduced its forecast to $90. Price Action INTC Stock Price Activity: Intel shares were down 1.55% at $64.74 during premarket trading on Monday, according to Benzinga Pro data .
